I have established a new, bespoke audiobook studio in my late father’s old study. He was a Shakespeare scholar and the walls are lined with books about literature, history and the theatre.
This portrait was taken by my son, photographer, William Mulryne, early in 2019.
I’ve converted the office into work space for my son’s photography business as well as a soundproofed studio, specifically for recording audiobooks.
As a tribute to my father, I decided to call my new audiobook studio, ‘Ronnie’s Library’.
Where is Ronnie’s Library?
Ronnie’s Library is located in the beautiful and historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, close enough to the town centre for easy access to the theatres, gardens and Shakespeare houses but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, even in the Summer!
Where better to record your audiobook than in a Shakespeare library, nestling in the town most intimately associated with the world’s greatest poet and playwright?
Stratford-upon-Avon is on the edge of the stunning Cotswolds but just a short drive from junction 15 of the M40.
